Earth Hour: Reconnect with the past with Hilton Ras Al Khaimah
Hilton hotels located in the scenic Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah will celebrate Earth Hour on Saturday 30th March in association with Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research and RAK Government. Aligning with Hilton’s global commitment to responsible travel and tourism through the brands Corporate Responsibility (CR) strategy, Travel with Purpose, the Earth Hour initiative committo the common goal of Hilton hotels to reduce the environmental footprint by half and doubling the investment in social impact by 2030.
Ras Al Khaimah residents and Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort as well as Al Hamra Residence and Village guests are invited to observe Earth Hour. The event, open to general public, will be held at Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, home to an enchanting old fortress and one of the oldest and best-preserved coastal villages in the UAE at 8pm on Saturday 30th March.
Guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an authentic cultural experience and as the lights switch off witness the traditions and customs of UAE through traditional folk dances and vibrant cultural performances. Culinary delights combining fresh organic ingredients supplied by the greenhouse farm, The Farm House, will be served to all participants.
