Vietnamese Foodies, the award-winning, freshest and most authentic choice for Vietnamese food in the UAE is once again giving back to its team in celebration of Lunar New Year. On Saturday, 21st January, Lunar New Year’s Eve,  all revenue – minus food costs – generated at the brand’s five Dubai locations will be shared amongst the family-owned restaurant’s 120 staff members.

With five locations, 2023 is set to be the biggest year yet for the restaurant’s team of 120 staff.  Diners wishing to thank the Vietnamese Foodies’ team are asked to simply dine-in at any Vietnamese Foodies location or order delivery on Saturday, 21st January. This year is the fifth year that the home-grown restaurant will undertake the tradition, and the first year including its new Dubai Hills Mall location.

Lunar New Year, or Tết as it is known in Vietnam, is a time for family and friends to gather, as well as a time to invite luck and good fortune for the year ahead. A hallmark of Tết are Hong Pao, or red envelopes, which contain a symbolic amount of money typically given by elders to younger family members.

According to Lily Hoa Nguyen, Owner and Executive Chef of Vietnamese Foodies, 2023 will be the biggest year to date, given the brand’s meteoric growth from 1 location and twenty staff members to now, five locations and 120 staff members:   “Our strength lies in our team. It is due to their hard work and dedication that we have grown so fast across Dubai with a wonderful customer base. This year, we are looking forward to celebrating our team with the biggest and best Tết celebration yet and we invite all our customers, existing and new, to join us on 21st January to say thank you to our staff.”

Regular and new customers can help join the celebrations simply by dining-in at one of the restaurant’s five branches: JLT, Downtown Dubai, Nakheel Mall, Time Out Market Dubai or Dubai Hills on 21st January or by ordering delivery.  Those dining in or ordering on the day can expect the same delicious and authentic Vietnamese specialties that put the restaurant on the map amongst foodies: its signature Pho; a choice of fresh salads, signature dishes, authentic Banh Mi, as well as a variety of fresh and flavourful Vegan dishes, and know that the proceeds of the day will go to the staff serving them.

Opened in JLT in January 2018 and expanding to Burj Vista, Downtown Dubai, Time Out Market Dubai, Nakheel Mall  and Dubai Hills Mall throughout the past five years, Vietnamese Foodies has fast become a foodie favorite in Dubai with all dishes lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients. Vietnamese Foodies’ menu takes inspiration from the culinary diversity of the Vietnamese capital and the aromatic flavors of the food will transport diners from Dubai to the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Customers are spoiled with choice thanks to their fresh and delicious menu filled with a variety of affordable, naturally healthy paleo, vegan, vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free options.
