Photography enthusiasts and curious creatives are invited to step back into the timeless art of analog photography with a Photowalk and Film Photography Masterclass, a unique two-day immersive experience set within the historic surroundings of Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village 🌿🏛️. Designed for those eager to explore photography as both a technical craft and a powerful storytelling medium, this workshop offers a hands-on journey into the world of film photography.
Taking place over two days, participants will join guided photowalks through the heritage village, learning how to observe light, texture, and emotion through an analog lens 📸✨. The masterclass covers the complete process—from shooting on film to developing and digitising photographs, allowing participants to experience every stage of image creation.
Spanning six hours in total (three hours per day), the workshop blends practical instruction with cultural exploration. Participants are encouraged to engage deeply with their surroundings, discovering how photography preserves memory, place, and identity—a theme that aligns closely with the Festival’s focus on Civilizations 🏺🌍.
Whether a beginner or an experienced photographer looking to reconnect with film, this masterclass provides a meaningful, creative, and educational experience in an inspiring heritage setting 🎞️🤍.
