40% discount on selected violations in Ras Al Khaimah
In line with the holy month of Ramadan & the Year of Zayed, to bring happiness to the society, Department of public works have initiated a drive to enlighten the public about the importance of preserving the environment and encouraging them to keep it clean.
The Ras Al Khaimah government has announced a 40 per cent discount on the environment violations registered in Ras Al Khaimah.
Raqib patrols have recorded 1,849 violations during January to March 2018. Most violations happened in following areas:
- Jebel Jais
- Corniche Al Qawasim
- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road
- Beaches of Al Muairidh and the Saudi Institute
To control violations department has plans to launch more environment patrols at the tourist Marjan Island.
