According to the report by Global Finance, UAE is amongst the safest countries in the world.
The safety score for countries takes into account three fundamental factors. These factors are war and peace, personal security, and natural disaster risk including the unique risk factors stemming from Covid-19. In the ranking, Iceland grabbed the first spot with the Global Finance Safety Index Score of 3.97, UAE second, and Qatar was ranked third.
Not just this but according to the latest update posted on the portal of the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), UAE ranks first in the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses given per 100 people. The UAE also tests more people per capita than most nations and has one of the lowest fatality rates in the world.
Global Finance magazine’s safety index factors in risks of natural disaster with crime, terrorism, and war to present a more rounded analysis of the world’s safest countries. Here’s the list of safest countries in the world.
