UAE 2018 Eid Holidays declared

The UAE government announced that  Eid Al Fitr holidays in UAE will start from 29th Ramadan Thursday 14th June to 3rd day of Shawwal.

This means that if Eid falls on Friday 15th June, then holidays will last till Sunday 17th June.

The exact date will be determined by the new moon sighting on Thursday night.

Traditionally, both public and private sector workers receive two to three days off to celebrate Eid Al Fitr. However, as the holiday is expected to fall on a weekend this year, private sector workers may not receive any extra days off.
