According to the emirate’s tourism authority, Qatar Airways is set to commence daily flights to Ras Al Khaimah from November 1, which is expected to create new tourism opportunities for the emirate and aid in achieving its goal of receiving three million visitors each year by 2030.

Engr. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of The Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah & Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, stated that the partnership with Qatar Airways is expected to provide significant progress towards this goal, while also strengthening their operational footprint. He expressed excitement about building a long and mutually beneficial relationship.

Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, remarked that the partnership with Qatar Airways and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is a crucial step in driving the emirate’s future development as a top tourist destination. The collaboration with one of the world’s most reputable airlines will enhance the overall competitiveness of the tourism industry and cater to the increasing demand for travel to Ras Al Khaimah.
