Stevie Awards announced the opening of nominations for Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa for the fourth edition of 2023, under the sponsorship of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for recognizing and honouring excellence and innovation in the business sector in 18 countries across the Middle East and North Africa. Nominations are currently accepted through the website, effective 15th August to 9th November 2022. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners shall be announced on January 25th and honoured in a ceremony held on the 20th of March, 2023, in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. However, fees paid before the 5th of October, 2022, will be discounted.
The organizers revealed that the Award is one of the top programs honouring innovation in the business sector across the region. Entries are open for private profit and non-profit organizations, as well as individuals in 18 countries, including United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, and Yemen, Algeria, Bahrain in addition to Iran (which has been added in 2023), they, confirmed that the participants are eligible to apply for many categories free of charge, while the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be later requested to pay charges which shall be fixed under the winners’ fees for each winning nomination.
The organizers further noted that entries are accepted in Arabic and English and shall be subject to arbitration by over 100 experts to be selected for the judging panels according to the international assessment standards. The organizers pointed out that the award includes over 100 categories, including websites, applications, achievement, annual reports and other publications, company/ organization, corporate communication and public relations, COVID-19 response, customer service, human resource, live and virtual events, management, marketing, new product, and product management, social media, technology, and video, thought leadership, in addition to new categories that have been added in the 4th edition, 2023 which include: thought leadership which honour the innovations in innovating thought leadership strategies. Two virtual event items have also been added under categories of achievements, including innovative achievements in the social responsibility field and innovative achievements in diversification and inclusion.
It is worth noting that among the winners of Stevie Awards Middle East and North Africa in 2022 included: Bahrain Tender Board, DHL Worldwide Express, Econ Dental from Jordan, Hilton Supply Management from Egypt, Hope Consortium from UAE, Inkript from Lebanon, Omantel from Sultanate of Oman, Ooredoo from Algeria and Qatar, Vakif Bank from Turkey among many others.
