Holidays declared for 2019-2020 in the UAE for public and private sectors
The UAE cabinet has approved unified national holidays in the year 2019 and 2020 for public and private sectors.
All ministries and federal offices have been asked to abide with the approved holiday calendar for year 2019 and 2020. In March, the Cabinet had issued a decree to enforce the unification of holidays for employees in the public and private sectors in the country.

- If you manage to get your leave approve for 2nd Jan 2020, you get a long weekend of 4 days
- If your manager agrees to grant you 29th and 30th November off, you can enjoy a 9 day National day holiday
