Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort Ras Al Khaimah

The 2026 guide to new hotels opening in Ras Al Khaimah. Wynn Al Marjan, Saij Mountain Lodge, Four Seasons, Fairmont, Taj and more. Opening dates and what to expect.

Ras Al Khaimah is in the middle of the most aggressive hotel expansion in its history. The emirate’s tourism authority has set a target of 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030 (up from 1.35 million in 2025) and the hotel pipeline is the lever that gets them there. More than a dozen new properties are under construction or have just opened across the four major zones, from Al Marjan Island to the Jebel Jais slopes.

Here is the verified 2026 to 2027 opening pipeline. For our current ranking of the best hotels already operating in RAK, see our best hotels and resorts pillar.

The headline 2027 opening: Wynn Al Marjan Island

The single most-anticipated UAE hotel opening of the decade. Wynn Al Marjan will be the country’s first fully integrated resort, with the UAE’s first regulated casino floor as the anchor. The numbers are large: 1,530 rooms (including 313 suites), 22 restaurants and lounges, a beach club, a nightclub, a theatre, a spa and a 98-berth marina. Confirmed F&B includes Alain Ducasse’s French-American steakhouse and Delilah, the Las Vegas-born supper club.

The tower topped out in 2025. Opening is scheduled for spring 2027, with Wynn acknowledging a possible modest delay due to regional supply chain timelines.

What this pipeline means for RAK

  • Total new keys 2026-2027: Approximately 3,500 to 4,000 across the pipeline, with Wynn alone accounting for 1,530
  • Zones gaining the most: Al Marjan Island (Wynn, NH Collection, Fairmont, Roof) and Mina Al Arab (Four Seasons, Rotana Mangroves)
  • New positioning: RAK is shifting decisively upmarket, from mid-tier beach resorts toward luxury and integrated-resort tier
  • Pricing impact: Expect average daily rates to lift across all zones as the new luxury keys absorb the premium end of demand
  • Booking strategy: Book existing properties early for 2026 weekends; new properties typically have soft-opening rates worth catching

WOW-RAK Expert Tip: The best deals on new hotels are typically the first three to six months after opening, when properties run promotional rates to build occupancy. Set price alerts on Booking.com for Saij Mountain Lodge from Q1 2026 and for Wynn Al Marjan from Q4 2026 to catch the pre-launch and soft-opening windows.
