Jebel Jais Overnight Backpacking Adventure

An unforgettable high-altitude adventure awaits as participants take on an immersive overnight backpacking journey through the breathtaking highlands of Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah. Designed for experienced hikers, this expedition offers a true test of endurance, teamwork, and self-reliance amidst the stunning landscapes of the UAE’s highest mountain range. 🌍🥾

The adventure begins at approximately 600 meters above sea level, where cool mountain air and golden light set the perfect tone for the ascent. Participants will follow winding highland trails with sweeping views over the west coast, completing an approximately 3-hour climb before reaching the designated campsite. 🏞️🔥

All participants are required to carry their full backpacking gear throughout the journey, including tents, sleeping systems, cooking equipment, and essentials—making this a real-world endurance and expedition-style experience. Once at camp, the group will set up tents, gather around a bonfire, and enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ dinner under a sky full of stars. 🍖🌌

As dawn breaks, early risers can witness the magical sunrise over the Hajar Mountains, with an optional short hike to a nearby viewpoint offering unforgettable panoramic views above the clouds. 🌅⛰️

This expedition is strictly for intermediate-level hikers (6/10 difficulty), suitable for those with above-average fitness who can comfortably carry up to 10 kg packs. It is not recommended for children or first-time hikers. However, aspiring backpackers may contact guides for fitness assessment and preparation support. 🎒💪
