It’s the fourth Emirate to announce a switch to e-learning as a Covid safety measure.

Schools in Ras Al Khaimah will switch to 100 percent online learning “until further notice”.

This makes it the fourth emirate to switch to 100 per cent e-learning as a precautionary measure against the spread of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Education and the Ras Al Khaimah emergency, crisis and disaster management team announced the decision on Sunday, February 14.

Earlier today, Umm Al Quwain had announced a similar decision.

Ajman had announced the switch to online learning on February 9, followed by Sharjah on February 11.
