The Ras Al Khaimah Police have extended their discount scheme on traffic fines as per the same rules announced earlier – the sooner you pay,
How the Scheme works?
| If you pay your fine within 50 Days | 50% Off |
| If you pay your fine within 80 Days | 30% Off |
Records show that up to 190,000 drivers benefited from the drive, which was launched in December 2015. More than 600,000 traffic fines have been cut under this initiative
The initiative has helped decrease the daily traffic accidents from 120 to 40
Those who have had their fines cut wish to show gratitude by reporting traffic accidents, erring drivers or drivers who flee after an accident.
