Coronavirus: A negative test report mandatory for staff to enter Ras Al Khaimah Schools
No teaching or administrative staff shall be allowed to enter any of the schools in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah without producing a negative Covid-19 certificate.
Amena Al Zaabi, director of the RAK education zone, said all teaching and administrative staff in the emirate must undergo a Covid-19 test at the approved centres.
“No one shall be allowed in (school) without doing the test and having a negative result.”
The test results must be valid and issued not exceeding four days before entering the school premises, she added. “Maximum 96-hour valid Covid-19 negative result is accepted.”
All the education staffers must have this negative result before being given access to the schools and premises under the supervision of the RAK education zone, she underlined.
“So far, up to 3,000 of the teaching and administrative staff under the RAK education zone have undergone Covid-19 test.”
“All drivers, supervisors, and security staff with schools and premises under the RAK education zone are to be tested for Covid-19 as well.”
Meanwhile, the RAK education zone has opened a number of centres at the Expo and Sports Hall for testing the teaching and administrative staff in all government and private schools in the emirate.
