The start & finish of the Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and 2km Fun Run races will be on Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah.

- Half Marathon – 7.00am
- 10km Road Race – 9.30am

T/Shirts, Medals and Certificates
- Half Marathon – All marathon participants will receive an official race t/shirt, a finishers medal and downloadable finishers certificate.
- 10km Road Race – All 10km participants will receive an official race t/shirt, a finishers medal and downloadable finishers certificate.
- 5km Road Race – All 5km participants will receive an official race t/shirt, a finishers medal and downloadable participation certificate.
- 2km Fun Run – All 2km participants will receive an official race t/shirt, a finishers medal and downloadable participation certificate.
Race Timing
The race will be timed using the “MikaTag” electronic timing system. Chips/Tags will be attached to the race bib number you will receive in your race pack. Do not remove this tag from your bib number. No Tag attached. No Time.
Drink Stations – Water
- Half Marathon – Water Stations will be provided every 2.5km from 5km to 20km and at the finish.
- 10km Road Race – Water Stations will be provided at the 5km point and at the finish.
- 5km Road Race – Water Stations will be provided at the finish.
- 2km Fun Run – Water Stations will be provided at the finish.
Entertainment
Live bands and a selection of other activities will be available at the Half Marathon Village throughout the day to entertain the participants and spectators. Food and Beverage facilities will also be available at the Half Marathon Village.

The RAK Half Marathon is already attracting the attention of world-class athletes eager to test themselves in ideal racing conditions as they prepare for the London Marathon and the Paris Olympics. Last year, there was a Kenyan double win in the 16th Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon with Bernard Koech earning the men’s elite title and Hellen Obiri the women’s event in 58:45 and 1:05:05 respectively.
“We are honoured to have been entrusted with organising the RAK Half Marathon, one of the most prominent sporting and social events in the UAE,” said Peter Connerton, Managing Director of Pace Events and Race Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon.
