Nobu Hotels, the renowned luxury hospitality brand, is expanding to Ras Al Khaimah. On January 31st, the company, a joint venture between chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and developer Marjan, announced that they will open an upscale hotel, branded residences, and a signature Nobu restaurant on Marjan Island.
The exact opening date of the property is uncertain, but what is known is that it will be a fashionable beachfront resort featuring 300 luxury residences branded by Nobu. Visitors can expect five-star service from Nobu Hospitality, enjoy the brand’s popular Japanese cuisine, and indulge in a variety of tailored wellness amenities such as a spa, gym, and swimming pools.
The announcement follows the recent reveal of plans for Nobu Hospitality’s first venture in Abu Dhabi, where a Nobu restaurant, beach club, luxurious hotel, and fashionable branded residences are set to open in Mamsha Al Saadiyat in 2026. Nobu already has a strong presence in Dubai, with a restaurant located on the roof of Atlantis The Palm and the world’s first Nobu beach club opening at Atlantis The Royal this February.
Nobu Al Marjan Island is added to the list of growing hotels on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Currently open properties include Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Movenpick Al Marjan Island, Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah, and Hampton by Hilton Marjan Island. Properties set to open in the future include the budget-friendly Rove Hotel, Address Al Marjan Island, Conrad Marjan Island, and the Middle Eastern debut of Las Vegas’ Wynn Resorts, which will boast the UAE’s first confirmed casino.
