The one locals genuinely tried to keep quiet. A natural pink-algae lake on the Saraya Island coast near Al Rams, the colour deepens to proper bubblegum pink in the right light and season. Free, 24-hour access, but only worth the drive October to April when the water holds its colour. No facilities, so treat it as a quick photo stop rather than a day out.
