Ras Al Khaimah that houses so many luxury resorts of the international chains is getting one more addition in The Intercontinental RAK Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. Inspired by the exquisite landscapes and hospitality of modern Arabia, the luxurious resort and spa promise to be the next vacation hotspot with its iconic architecture and distinctive features.
The new resort will operate under the luxury portfolio of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) with rooms, suites, and villas offering views of the Arabian Sea while the project will introduce the first Club InterContinental Experience in Ras Al Khaimah.
The InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa will have amenities such as two swimming pools, a gym, Planet Trekkers kid’s and teens club, and a tennis court as well as various global culinary experiences.
Mohammed Al Tair, acting chief officer of RAK Properties, said: “We are excited to open the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa which will be an icon of luxury hospitality in the Northern Emirates, and a first-class destination for tourists and visitors who want to enjoy idyllic island life and an unforgettable holiday experience.”
More than AED5 billion has been allocated for investment to develop projects on the Hayat island Ras Al Khaimah. It will form the new community and entertainment centre in Ras Al Khaimah. It features a mixture of recreation and entertainment elements as well as hotels and resorts, villas and furnished apartments, a shopping mall and a beach.
Guests staying at the hotel can book a room, suite or villa, with each category offering spacious accommodation and a private balcony or terrace. For those seeking utmost privacy, private pools and family villas are surrounded by well-manicured gardens and are located only a few steps from the white sandy beach.
For travellers staying in premium rooms, there will be complimentary access to the Club InterContinental Experience. Housed in a separate building, this exclusive club offers a dedicated premium check-in area, a private pool and bespoke food and beverages served throughout the day.
The hotel is also offering a plethora of day trips to some of Ras Al Khaimah’s most interesting spots including visits to the Suwaidi Pearl Farm, dhow cruises through the mangroves and desert safari excursions.
