Professor Graham Shapiro

Professor Graham Shapiro is an award-winning British inventor, designer & digital entrepreneur. He is a distinguished Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers; Visiting Professor at the University of Westminster; Ambassador of Innovation for the University of Cambridge; Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Chester; and Freeman of The City of London. Graham invented interloopmailer® and Reggie®. For over 25 years his company Graham Shapiro Design (GSD®) has created online and offline visual communication for some of the world’s most respected companies.

Sarah Bacon

Experienced senior leader with a career spanning in the UK, Europe, South-East Asia and the Middle East in high-growth tech companies and a Fortune 500 energy company, Sarah Bacon grew and scaled tech-enabled startups with full P&L accountability in fintech (ideation and early-stage) and edtech (scale-up) in the UAE and KSA. She built organisational engines to drive growth including product, B2B sales, B2B & B2C marketing, operations and customer success.

Including an international career at a Fortune 500 oil & gas company in billion-dollar projects in frontier, challenging markets (including Iraq, Brunei, Malaysia), she developed and executed commercial and organisational growth strategies; led scale-up and ramp-down of a key strategic country’s operations with aggressive timelines, fast-changing environments and challenging C-level stakeholders; and delivered in areas of high uncertainty and high-pressure.
