Ritz-Carlton Al Hamra Beach is the tented villa resort just up the coast from Waldorf – a different aesthetic, similar tier. Bedouin-inspired suites, private plunge pools on most villa categories, a beach that runs longer than most properties in the cluster. Restaurants lean fine dining including Shore House for seafood and Beach Deck for the seasonal grill. The spa runs separately for ladies and gents. Best for couples and special occasions, but families with older kids fit fine. Book at least three weeks ahead for Friday-Saturday stays.
