Haines’ contributions to the events landscape extend across borders. Her relocation to the UAE in 2008 marked the beginning of her influential role in the region. Notably, she served as the Event Project Director for the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF), where her event planning skills were on full display. The opening of new offices in India and Poland is a strategic move. The previous year, India was one of the Northern Emirate’s top five largest source markets. It witnessed 23,914 travelers visiting RAK, while Poland contributed 9,590 visitors. For the first quarter of 2023, Indian travelers reached 10,140, and Polish visitors reached 3,196. Despite this, Russia remains Ras Al Khaimah’s largest source market by a significant margin, bringing in 45,416 travelers up to Q1 2023.
